About the Role
Job Title: Junior Data Engineer Employment Type: Full-Time (W2) Candidate must be open to relocate. We are seeking motivated and aspiring Data Engineers to join our growing consulting team. This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates and early-career IT professionals who are passionate about data engineering, cloud technologies, and big data solutions. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows. Collect, transform, validate, and load data from multiple sources into enterprise data platforms. Write efficient SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets. Assist in building and optimizing data warehouses and cloud-based data solutions. Support data integration, data quality, and data governance initiatives. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to deliver data-driven solutions. Monitor data pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance. Follow software development best practices, including version control and Agile methodologies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field. 1–4 years of professional experience in software development, data engineering, analytics, or a related technical role. Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Scala, or SQL. Understanding of relational databases, SQL, and data modeling concepts. Familiarity with object-oriented programming and basic software development principles. Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and database fundamentals. Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus. Familiarity with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, Hive, Airflow, or Snowflake is preferred but not required. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Willingness to relocate to Atlanta, GA for the paid training program and travel or relocate as required for client engagements across the United States. Preferred Qualifications Internship, academic, or personal projects involving data engineering, ETL, SQL, or cloud technologies. Experience using Git or other version control systems. Knowledge of Linux, scripting, or automation tools. Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Thanks
