As our Accounting & Finance Manager, you'll keep the day-to-day engine of our finances running. As we scale across three legal entities and expand across Europe, you'll make sure our payables, receivables, billing, collections and reconciliation stay accurate and on time — and help us automate the manual work along the way.

This is a broad, hands-on role with real exposure across the whole operational finance stack, working directly with our Teamlead Central Functions Sebastian and CEO Tim.

Tasks

What you'll be doing

  • Process invoices, receipts and payments, verify supplier details and tax treatment, and keep supplier records clean
  • Reconcile bank transactions and books daily and support an on-time month-end close
  • Reconcile revenue and payment-provider transactions (e.g. Stripe) and flag anomalies
  • Handle billing changes and act as first point of contact for customer billing & finance queries
  • Support collections — trace open claims, gather proof, and coordinate with account managers, collections and operations
  • Improve documentation and use AI tools to automate manual finance tasks

Who you'll work with

You'll work closely with our Sr. Finance Controller Svitlana and collaborate across Account Management, Collections and Operations. You'll be part of a collaborative, feedback-driven culture that values clear communication, shared ownership and continuous learning.

Requirements

What we're looking for

We don't believe in rigid checklists – but if most of these apply to you, we'd love to chat:

~1–3 years hands-on experience in operational accounting / finance (AP, AR, bookkeeping, reconciliation)

Solid accounting fundamentals — you understand the P&L and balance sheet and the consequences of transactions, so you spot when something is off

Sense of urgency & ownership — you flag, act and follow through rather than letting things sit

Confident communicator — comfortable reaching out to suppliers, customers and teams, including by phone

AI-native mindset — you use modern and AI tools to automate manual work

✔ You are fluent in English. German is a plus but not required.

Bonus points for

  • Startup / mid-sized company experience
  • Exposure to collections / debtor management
  • Multi-entity or multi-market finance structures
  • Familiarity with Stripe, spend-management or accounting tools
  • German language skills
