About the Role
Role Description
We are looking for a QA Engineer / DevOps Engineer to help build reliable, scalable, and high-quality software delivery processes. This role combines quality assurance with modern DevOps practices to improve product stability, automate testing, optimize deployment pipelines, and support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD). The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about improving software quality through automation and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and test cases.
Plan and execute functional, integration, regression, performance, and end-to-end testing.
Identify, document, track, and verify software defects while working closely with development teams.
Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support efficient software delivery.
Monitor application performance, system health, and deployment processes.
Configure and maintain cloud infrastructure, containerized environments, and deployment automation.
Improve software release quality through testing strategies, quality metrics, and process optimization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.
Support infrastructure automation, configuration management, and environment consistency.
Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain technical documentation related to testing, deployment, and operational procedures.
Promote best practices for quality assurance, automation, security, and system reliability.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, quality assurance principles, and the software development lifecycle.
Familiarity with test automation concepts and automated testing frameworks.
Knowledge of CI/CD principles and modern software delivery practices.
Understanding of version control systems such as Git.
Familiarity with container technologies and orchestration platforms.
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and infrastructure automation concepts.
Understanding of Linux or Unix operating systems and basic system administration.
Familiarity with scripting or programming languages for automation tasks.
Knowledge of API testing, database validation, and performance testing concepts.
Understanding of monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced development environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to software quality.
