We encourage applicants to apply only if this range aligns with their compensation expectations. = Full-Time Independent Contractor Setup Hybrid (F2F twice a month in Ortigas) Paid PH Holidays Equipment Provision Upon reaching 6 months of engagement, eligible for leave credits, health and wellness reimbursement & performance appraisal About this Job We are looking for a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to help build, maintain, and optimize our cloud infrastructure, deployment processes, and development environments. In this role, you will work closely with Full stack engineers and technical stakeholders to improve system reliability, security, scalability, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, Linux administration, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure monitoring. You should be passionate about improving development workflows, automating repetitive tasks, and maintaining high system availability. Responsibility and Accountability Manage and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production and development environments. Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines to support efficient software deployment. Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline operational and deployment processes. Implement and uphold infrastructure security best practices and compliance standards. Collaborate with development teams to support application deployments and improve system performance. Respond to infrastructure incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions. Create and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational procedures. Preferred Qualifications and Skills 2–3 years of experience in DevOps, Systems Administration, Cloud Engineering, or related roles. Experience working with AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, RDS, and related technologies. Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix server administration. Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell scripting. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and deployment automation. Experience with Git version control and collaborative development workflows. Understanding of networking fundamentals, security concepts, and system monitoring. Experience working with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB. Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and modern web architectures. Nice-to-Have Qualifications Experience with Docker and containerized applications. Exposure to Kubernetes or container orchestration platforms. Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Knowledge of monitoring and observability platforms. Experience with OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, or similar search technologies. AWS Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect Associate, or equivalent certification. Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team. Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage competing deadlines.
