About the Role
Role Description
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure that supports the development, deployment, and operation of modern software applications. The successful candidate will work closely with software engineers, QA teams, system administrators, security specialists, and product stakeholders to streamline development workflows, automate operational processes, and improve system reliability.
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, automating deployment processes, and ensuring applications are delivered efficiently across development, testing, and production environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize software delivery, reduce deployment risks, and improve operational performance.
Key responsibilities include provisioning and managing cloud resources, implementing infrastructure as code, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting production issues, and maintaining high standards for availability, scalability, security, and disaster recovery. You will support application deployments, automate routine operational tasks, manage configuration changes, and continuously improve system performance through proactive monitoring and optimization.
You will also work closely with development teams to establish best practices for release management, version control, environment consistency, and system observability. The role involves implementing logging, monitoring, alerting, and performance analysis solutions to ensure platform stability and rapid incident response.
In addition, you will contribute to security initiatives by implementing secure deployment practices, vulnerability management, access controls, backup strategies, and compliance requirements. You will maintain technical documentation, support continuous improvement initiatives, evaluate emerging DevOps technologies, and promote automation and operational excellence throughout the software development lifecycle.
