Business Development Manager
Critical Infrastructure & Data Centres

About the Opportunity
Our client is a global engineering and technology solutions provider supporting some of the world's most complex and mission-critical facilities.
Due to continued growth across the digital infrastructure sector, they are seeking a commercially focused Business Development Manager to drive the expansion of their presence within the Data Centre market across Australia and New Zealand.
This role will be responsible for developing strategic relationships across owners, operators, developers, consultants, contractors, and investment groups involved in the rapidly evolving digital infrastructure landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a market growth strategy focused on the Data Centre sector.
Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders across the project lifecycle, from planning and design through to operations.
Identify and convert new business opportunities within hyperscale, colocation, cloud, and mission-critical environments.
Engage with end users, consultants, engineering firms, and contractors to position technical solutions that improve operational performance and sustainability outcomes.
Create and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities across both existing and prospective clients.
Work closely with internal technical and operational teams to develop commercial proposals and long-term customer partnerships.
Monitor market activity, project pipelines, emerging technologies, and competitor movements.
Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
About You
Proven experience in business development, account management, or technical sales.
Existing relationships within the Data Centre, Critical Infrastructure, Industrial, Building Services, or Engineering sectors.
Expertise with Water Treatment, Liquid Cooling, Cooling Technologies are highly regarded.
Strong ability to engage senior stakeholders and influence decision-makers.
Experience managing long sales cycles and complex solution-driven opportunities.
Commercially astute with a consultative approach to business development.
Self-motivated and comfortable operating in a highly autonomous environment.
