About the Role
We're looking for a Presales Solutions Architect to be the technical bridge between client requirements and deliverable data centre solutions — working directly with clients to shape their infrastructure needs into sound technical designs, and with the internal engineering team to validate what's actually buildable. This is a client-facing, technically credible role reporting directly to the CTO.
What You'll Do
Engage directly with clients to understand infrastructure requirements — space, power density, cooling, connectivity, redundancy, and growth plans
Translate client requirements into technical solution designs, including cabinet layout, power/cooling configuration, and connectivity architecture
Lead or contribute to RFP and proposal responses, owning the technical narrative and solution design sections
Work closely with the engineering solutions team to validate feasibility of proposed designs against real facility capacity and constraints
Present and defend technical solutions in client meetings, workshops, and competitive pitch situations
Stay engaged through to deal close, supporting the sales/commercial team on technical questions and objections
Act as the internal technical authority on solution soundness before proposals go to clients
What We're Looking For
5+ years of experience in a presales, solutions architecture, or technical consulting role — data centre, colocation, telco, or systems integrator background strongly preferred
Strong working knowledge of data centre infrastructure fundamentals: power density, redundancy configurations, cooling, and connectivity/interconnection concepts
Proven experience translating client requirements into technical proposals and RFP responses
Comfortable operating cross-functionally between clients, sales, and engineering/technical teams
Confident, credible communicator — able to present and defend technical designs at senior client level
Mandarin language proficiency required, to support client engagements across the region
