Senior Data Engineer

About the role: We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to own and scale core data infrastructure across our data warehouse, business intelligence, and operational systems. You will build reliable data pipelines, manage secure access to critical platforms, and ensure data is accessible, accurate, and ready for reporting. This role works closely with technical and business stakeholders to connect data sources, improve performance, and support data-driven decisions. Key Responsibilities: Own and improve the reporting and semantic layer in DOMO. Integrate data from Snowflake, BigQuery, SQL Server, and other external sources into DOMO. Build and optimize DOMO data flows, datasets, and reporting pipelines. Administer and maintain Snowflake environments, including provisioning, RBAC, security controls, and access management. Design and operate scalable Snowflake ingestion and transformation pipelines using Streams and Dynamic Tables. Manage BigQuery integrations, access controls, and connectivity with DOMO. Design, troubleshoot, and optimize complex SQL Server queries and database workflows. Use advanced SQL techniques, including window functions, to support data transformation and analysis. Build and maintain orchestration pipelines using Airflow, Dagster, or similar tools. Develop and maintain dbt models, testing, documentation, and transformation workflows. Monitor data quality, pipeline performance, and reliability across the end-to-end data lifecycle. Partner with engineering, analytics, and business teams to define data requirements and deliver dependable solutions. Requirements: At least 7 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or a related role. Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake administration, architecture, security, and RBAC. Strong experience with DOMO, including data integrations, data flows, datasets, and reporting support. Strong experience with Google BigQuery and GCP access management. Advanced SQL and SQL Server experience, including complex query optimization and window functions. Experience designing and maintaining scalable ETL or ELT pipelines. Experience with dbt and at least one orchestration platform such as Airflow or Dagster. Experience managing data access, governance, and security controls. Ability to work independently and own data infrastructure from database administration through BI delivery. Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. Nice to Have: Experience with additional cloud data platforms or BI tools. Experience implementing data observability, lineage, or automated data-quality checks. Experience working in Agile, distributed engineering teams.
