ABFinance is seeking an Affiliate Marketing Compliance Manager to build, implement, and operate the Affiliate Marketing Compliance Program.
This is a dedicated compliance role responsible for ensuring the Affiliate Marketing Program complies with US consumer protection laws and ADB's Affiliate Marketing Requirements.
The successful candidate will lead the design of the compliance framework, oversee day-to-day program governance, and work cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, Business Development, Marketing, Product, and Operations.
This position requires familiarity with US Consumer Protection regulations, including FTC Endorsement Guides, UDAAP, OCC third-party oversight expectations, and marketing compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Build the Affiliate Compliance Program
Design and implement the Affiliate Marketing Compliance Program from the ground up.
Develop Affiliate Marketing Policies, SOPs, governance frameworks, and operating procedures.
Establish scalable compliance processes supporting long-term program growth.
Build compliance workflows across the applicant process and Affiliate onboarding, monitoring, remediation, reporting, and governance workflows.
2. Compliance Governance
Serve as the internal owner and primary contact of the Affiliate Compliance Program.
Maintain compliance governance documentation.
Coordinate with stakeholders and external partners on Affiliate Compliance matters.
Ensure the Affiliate Marketing Program complies with consumer protection laws and regulations and complies with Affiliate Marketing Program Requirements.
Support regulatory examinations, audit, and issue requests pertaining to the Affiliate Marketing Program.
3. Affiliate Compliance Operations
Manage Affiliate onboarding and training compliance.
Review Affiliate due diligence.
Establish and maintain an Affiliate Register that is accurate and complete.
Monitor Affiliate self-reporting process and manage policy violations internally and with external stakeholders.
Ensure all applicants of the Affiliate Marketing Program complete required agreements, KYC compliance reviews, and pass the compliance training and knowledge checkprior to application approval and Affiliate activation and compensation.
Coordinate annual reviews and ongoing compliance maintenance.
4. Marketing Compliance
Review Affiliate Marketing activities for compliance with US consumer protection requirements.
Coordinate pre-publication review and content management processes in partnership with stakeholders and external partners.
Manage Affiliate Marketing post-publication content monitoring, trend analysis, metrics, and reporting.
Oversee and perform compliance remediation, content takedowns, Affiliate suspensions, compliance investigations, and escalations to internal and external stakeholders/partners.
5. Monitoring & Risk Management
Own content surveillance tool implementation and daily operations.
Monitor Affiliate content across supported channels.
Investigate compliance alerts.
Track remediation SLAs.
Manage compliance dashboards and produce programmatic metrics (KRIs/KPIs), and governance reporting.
6. Cross-functional Collaboration
Partner with Legal on regulatory interpretation and applicability.
Partner with Business Development on Affiliate onboarding.
Partner with Marketing on compliant campaign execution.
Support internal audits and regulatory examinations.
Qualifications
Required
US-based employee.
5+ years of Compliance, Consumer Protection, Regulatory Compliance, Risk Management, or Compliance Operations experience.
Strong knowledge of US Consumer Protection Laws.
Familiarity with FTC Endorsement Guides.
Familiarity with UDAAP.
Experience building compliance programs or governance frameworks.
Strong stakeholder management skills.
Excellent documentation and project management abilities.
Preferred
Experience in banking, fintech, payments, crypto, or financial services.
Experience supporting OCC-regulated organizations.
Experience managing Affiliate or Marketing Compliance programs.
Experience with PerformLine or similar compliance monitoring platforms.
Experience preparing for regulatory audits.
